We are upgrading an old knitting machine with a small computer and knit your logo and images. Brother has built knitting machines in the 90ies. You could knit pattern drawn from books for example. The AYAB project has built an Arduino Shield. So now, we can connect those machine and use our PC.
We are building our own local Internet
Andre Gaul shows us how to build our own private local area network (free wireless freifunk network) that works without the big global Internet. We start from the installation and configuraation of a router to setting up antennas and equipment.

The OTS'15 Schedule
The OTS'15 program was colorful, diverse and offered a glimpse to the future of technology with 70+ speakers, 30 volunteers and 700+ participants. The program offered IT and Open Hardware tracks, a kids and maker space and a lounge exhibition.
